These events are connected but separate. SecOps SIEMPosium is a theater style conference with keynotes, tech talks and a CTF. The Master Classes allow for highly requested classroom style hands-on learning. We are offering bundle discounts to those who want to attend all events.
With speakers from Google and heavy Google SecOps adopters expect to learn more about the future of the product, how others are adopting the latest and greatest features and breaking new ground with SOC Modernization.
Both the master classes and conference event are designed to be friendly for beginners. The master classes are designed to develop expertise in a particular subject, such as parsing or YARA-L. You may join a class as a beginner in a given topic, but with the focused, hands-on exercises you will come out an expert.
No, while main topics are covered, this is designed for participants to deepen expertise in specific topics. Google SecOps and GTI have a lot of capabilities and there will be more master classes and events in the future that cover other topics.
The event is designed to meet the qualification for CPE credits, and we will be providing documentation to support you redeeming those credits from your certificate authority.
